The US at the time were in control of the world's supply of helium, forcing Germany to use the more dangerous hydrogen.

The Third Reich's mighty Zeppelin, It's fate is actually ironic. Like a precursor to The Fuhrer's dream of a Thousand Year Empire, which like the Hindeburg, went up in smoke.

Sadly nobody wants to fly slowly anymore. Also, you wouldn't talk with a high voice because they gas bags inside would be sealed as much as possible, because they are the only thing keeping that metal frame & canvas in the air.

Thanks for the precision, Baron.

I was just pulling my friend's leg, he is a cartoon humorist, always looking for something funny to say ;)

BTW, have you ever considered how would it be to live in one?
How much would that cost?

Hmm, just steal the USA's helium from the Texas Helium Storage, they aren't useing it. :P

Also, if the Hindenburg could carry 60 passengers, a rigid airship for 1 person to live in and the minimal crew would be much cheaper.

Only fill them with helium like the Hindenburgh was supposed to be filled with.
